Is there more than one way to clean a carpet?
There are different methods that professional carpet cleaners use to clean carpeting in homes or businesses. After major carpet mills and fiber producers tested the effectiveness of various cleaning methods, the choice for maximum cleaning, texture retention and refreshing, and creating a healthier environment is hot water extraction, also known as "steam" cleaning.

Will my carpets soil quicker after they are cleaned?
Unlike some other cleaning methods that can leave behind soil attracting residues, our cleaning program will actually extend the life and appearance of the carpet. We also apply fiber protectors to assist you in maintaining soil removal by regular vacuuming.

Can some carpet cleaning methods actually hurt my carpet?
The cleaning technician doing the work is the key to safe and effective cleaning. Dry powder cleaning can use harsh chemical solvents mixed with gritty products that can build up in your carpet causing excessive soiling and even pollution. Carbonated chemical dry cleaning with a bonnet uses an abrasive spinning pad that can cause carpets to lose their texture and appearance. Dry foam cleaning uses optical brighteners to "hide", not remove soil, leaving a chemical residue. Rapid re-soiling and an unhealthy environment can result from high residues with these methods.

Carpet Cleaning FAQ's

Don't take our
word for it....

“Even with regular vacuuming, soil particles and oily dirt will cling to the carpet fibers.  With foot traffic these particles and oily dirt are driven deep into the carpet.  We recommend professional hot water extraction every 12 to18 months.  Periodic cleaning, using the hot water extraction method performed by a certified carpet care professional, will refresh carpet appearance.” – Quote from warranty documents of a major carpet manufacturer.
